Common questions

My reminders are not firing.: Make sure notifications are enabled for the app in iOS Settings. The app also warns you in a banner if reminders cannot fire. Reminders are based on the posted city schedule; cleaning can run early or off-schedule, so always check the signs.
How is the risk calculated?: It is a relative frequency tier, not a probability. We compare each block’s ticket count by day and hour over the last 12 months against that block’s own busiest slot, and always show the underlying count.
Where does the data come from?: Citation and street-cleaning data come from the City and County of San Francisco (DataSF). License plates are never stored or shown.
